Non.Plus Lit is now accepting poetry in English translation!

Submission Instructions

We are currently accepting any previously unpublished creative works of poetry in English translation. 

To submit, email us at non.pluslittranslations@gmail.com 

Please title your email: TRANSLATION FROM THE {Source Language} - {Your Last Name}

In the body of the email, kindly include a cover letter with the following: 

• A short translator bio (300 words or less)

• A short author bio (300 words or less) 

• Any social media links you would like to share.

• Permission of Publication (Leave a note if original is from the public domain or a self translation)

We ask for two attachments

(1) Permission of Publication:

Attach evidence confirming availability of the translation rights of the text to publish the work at Non.Plus Lit. Please make sure to translate all attachments into the English if necessary. 

(2) Body of Work:

In a single document (.docx only) please include:
• 1 to 5 previously unpublished Poems of English Translation 
• Original text(s) at the very end of the document
• Each poem should begin on a new page.
• The total page count should not exceed 15 pages.
• We ask that you not put any identifying information in the document itself (i.e. name, email address). 

We accept simultaneous submissions, but we ask that you please inform us as soon your work is accepted somewhere else. You can withdraw a submission by emailing us at non.pluslittranslations@gmail.com outlining the details of your request. 

Submissions in both our poetry and translation sections are acceptable. Limit to one submission per section.
